Phone Problems

For the next week or so, call 522-1590 to get the pool office.

The story: You may have noticed that we are missing the "red phone" this summer and some of you have been unable to get us in the office. To say we've had phone problems is an understatement. First, we lost our 524-2500 number early in the season. This line runs under Sand Point way and is damaged. QWest has been trying to get permits to dig under the road, but they are getting some resistance. In the meantime, we've had the regular phone number forwarded to the "red line" which is now in the office. Yesterday, it appears that we've lost our other line. Fortunately we can call out - the technician confirmed that a call to 911 will get the correct address. When you call you will just get a busy signal. We should know more by tomorrow. In the meantime, you'll have to drop by to get info, reserve a court, etc. Stay tuned!

Slide Update
(July 28)

Drain covers have been installed. We await the arrival of the stair treads. We've resolved the issue with the design for the poured first "step." We await concrete which is suddenly hard to get. The head of the county Health Department said he would personally inspect when we are ready! Soon??

Staff Appreciation

Come show your appreciation for our hard working staff before everyone takes off after the end of the swim and tennis team seasons and our college kids start returning to college. For 3 days, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, July 26, 27, and 28, bring in treats and fun stuff for the pool and tennis staff.

There are sign up sheets at the pool so we can spread this out over the 3 days. Anything is welcome and will be appreciated.
