Why does the pool open at 4:00 during the last week?
Most of our guards are now high school age. State law limits them to 4 hours of work per day during the school year. If we open, as we have in the past, at 3:00, by the time they arrive and leave after the last swimmer gets out of the locker room, they will be over the maximum.
