One day on a snowy evening in March 5, 1770 tensions exploded. An angry mob gathered on King Street where most of the soldiers were housed and started shouting at each other. A few blocks away another angry mob started to taunt a soldier on guard duty. He called for help and other soldiers came running. The mob chased the soldiers pelting them with snowballs and clamshells and soldiers were knocked down. They dared the soldiers to fire. Finally a shot rang out and a soldier shouted, “Fire!” and the soldiers fired. This killed five men. In the movie below, we will give you the opinions of people during the incident. Enjoy.
