The Quartering Act
Aria, Sabbontu, Nico, Abby

In 1765, the King of England sent soldiers to live with people in their homes, schools, or even churches. The King sent soldiers because of all the outbreaks from the colonists about taxation. This was called the Quartering Act. The slaves of course did not like this because it meant extra work. You’ll see their point of view in our presentation.
