“The Shot Heard Around the World” was a shot from a gun (the side of which the shot was fired is unknown) that declared war among the British and the Colonies. The shot happened on April 19, 1775, in Lexington. That shot lead to many wars across the Colonies. In this play patriot friends gather to talk about past events of the Revolutionary War and of the shot that declared war.
