View Ridge’s Tennis Team competes in the Evergreen Junior Tennis League against various other junior tennis programs from all over the Seattle area. The league tends to be very loosely organized, which means that match schedules do not come out until right before the season starts. Once the coaches have received match information from the league, a more complete schedule will be available online as well as at the pool office.
Once the season has started matches will take place every Friday afternoon (usually around 1:00). Team members should plan on meeting at the VR courts at 12:00 prior to each match for a roster check, unless told otherwise by the coaches. Because of our program’s tremendous size and shortage of court space (only two), these matches are typically “away.” Unfortunately, coaches are not allowed to drive kids to and from the matches, thus it is always the parents’ responsibility to get their kids from View Ridge to the match site and back. Volunteer parent drivers and carpooling are always greatly appreciated. Here is a tentative schedule:
